VISCOMEDI (partially neutralized polyacrylate) is a water-soluble, non-crosslinked polymer made by polymerizing acrylic acid and sodium acrylate. As a hydrogel adhesive, it is used in cataplasms, cooling patches, plasters, and other pharmaceutical and personal-care products.
