Glycol ethers are oxygenated organic solvents produced at high purity. The E-Series is based on ethylene oxide (EO) and the P-Series on propylene oxide (PO), made by adding EO/PO to lower alcohols and refining them by precision distillation.
They are used as solvents and intermediates for semiconductors and electronic materials, coatings, inks, dyes, industrial cleaners, metalworking fluids, brake fluid, and antifreeze.
